- Essential oil is obtained by cold expression of the peels of unripe fruits. Pairs well with tea tree for use on blemishes. Try this recipe for a cooling body mist: 9 drops lemon, 7 drops peppermint, 2 drops lavender, 1 oz. water in a mister. To clean floors, add 5-10 drops of Lemon oil and 1/4 cup of vinegar to your bucket of water. To clean windows. mix 10-15 drops with 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 quart of water in a spray bottle. Rub 1-2 drops of Lemon oil on stains to remove them, then put in the wash.
