Sage has a piney, earthy flavor. Use sage sparingly because it can easily overpower a dish. 1 tsp. is equal to 3/4 tsp. of ground sage. Sage tea with honey is enjoyed, especially in the winter months, as a warming and tonifying tea, and is also often enjoyed after heavy meals.
